Filmmakers use the Elements & Principles of Design to portray a certain emotion or purpose for a film. For example, vertical lines is to emphasize or create a feeling of height and strength. In our the film my group and I created, we found a place that is a good example of vertical lines within the school and including myself in the frame makes me look smaller since the vertical lines around me look evidently taller.
