Resolution and its aspect ratio play a large role in producing films. From class, we learned the different types of resolution and aspect ratios.
The photo above is something we made in class to represent and demonstrate the different types of resolution: 4096x2160, 1920x1080, 1440x1080, 1280x720, 720x480, and 640x480. Respectively, they each have a ratio, indicating the dimensions of the media by the width to the height: 16:9 and 4:3. In relation to importance, it helps determine the quality of the format of the video or image on the screen it appears on, for example, televisions. For our films, it is essential that we film in the same resolution and aspect ratio (720) so that we can easily edit different shots at the same time without having to adjust the size manually. It also helps prevent the blurriness of the image or video when it doesn't match the format it was made to edit it in Premiere Pro.
If I were to complete this film again, I would have one person set up the camera every single time we shoot, so for one, it will be the same for all the shots. And lastly, I would recommend including locations that are accessible in the school so you don't have to readjust plans in your storyboard.
